Manual Control

Direct hardware control outside of an experiment — homing, jogging, and troubleshooting.

What's here

Why this tab exists in the flow

It's not part of the Calibration → Experiment happy path, but it's where you go when something needs correcting outside a run: initial homing after power-on, recovering from an e-stop or a stall, or manually checking the laser wiring before trusting it inside an experiment's Pre/ON/Post phases.

Relative jogging is gated on homed state, same as starting an experiment — the printer's reported position can't be trusted for a relative move until it's been homed at least once.
